Welcome to the DSV Marketplace
The Dope Soul Village® Marketplace (“Marketplace”) is an online platform operated by Dope Soul Village (“DSV”, “we”, “our”, “us”) where women-led businesses, creators, and independent sellers can sell products directly to customers worldwide.
By signing up as a seller or using the Marketplace, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, so please read them carefully before joining the village.
1. Seller Eligibility
To sell on the Marketplace, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

Have a valid payment method to receive payouts

Provide accurate business, contact, and product information

Comply with all laws applicable to your country and products
The Marketplace is open globally, and women from anywhere in the world can apply to sell.
DSV reserves the right to reject applications, suspend accounts, or remove sellers at our discretion.
2. Seller Fees & Payment
We believe women should actually keep the money they earn, which is why we offer transparent pricing with no sneaky nonsense.
✨ Founder Seller Rate
The first 50 sellers can lock in a founder rate of:
£35/month + payment processing fees
This rate stays for life as long as your subscription remains active.
🚀 Standard Seller Plan
Once founder spots are filled:
£55/month + payment processing fees
💖 Commission-Based Selling
We also offer a lower-risk option for sellers who prefer not to pay a monthly subscription:
20% commission per sale

Subscription payments are charged upfront on the date of sign-up and renew monthly unless cancelled.
There are no hidden fees.
3. Product Listings
Sellers are responsible for the legality, accuracy, quality, and descriptions of their products.
Anything legal made, sourced, or created by women may be sold on the Marketplace, including handmade products, digital products, services, sustainable items, and niche creations.
DSV reserves the right to remove any listing or product deemed:

Illegal
-
Harmful
-
Misleading
-
Offensive
-
In breach of Marketplace policies
4. Payments & Payouts
Payments from buyers are processed securely through our payment providers.
Seller payouts are processed after payment confirmation, minus any applicable:
-
payment processing fees
-
commission fees (if applicable to your plan)
Sellers are solely responsible for:
-
taxes
-
import/export obligations
-
business registrations
-
legal compliance in their own country
5. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must:

Keep inventory and product information accurate
-
Dispatch orders within their stated processing times
-
Provide tracking information where applicable
-
Handle customer service, returns, and refunds appropriately
-
Follow all applicable consumer protection laws
-
Maintain professional communication with customers
You are responsible for your own shop, products, and customer experience.
6. DSV Responsibilities
DSV will:

Provide the online Marketplace platform
-
Process payments securely
-
Support Marketplace growth and promotion
-
Maintain reasonable platform security measures
DSV is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers, including:

damaged items
-
delayed deliveries
-
refunds
-
customer disagreements
That said, we do reserve the right to step in where necessary to protect the Marketplace or community.
7. Termination
Sellers may close or terminate their account at any time.
Subscription cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle.
DSV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

breaches of these Terms

illegal activity
-
abusive behaviour
-
repeated customer issues
-
misuse of the platform
Fees already paid are non-refundable.
8. Liability
Use of the Marketplace is at your own risk.
DSV is not liable for:

indirect losses

lost profits
-
data loss
-
business interruption
-
disputes between buyers and sellers
Sellers agree to indemnify DSV against claims arising from their products, services, or activities on the Marketplace.
9. Privacy
DSV processes personal data in line with our Privacy Policy below.
By using the Marketplace, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your information as outlined in this policy.
10. Changes to Terms
DSV may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the Marketplace after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
