On Tuesday, Dope Soul Village and Finally Free CIC partnered with the incredible HERSPACE community for a day dedicated to empowerment, movement, and meaningful conversations about domestic violence and the future we’re building for survivors.
This wasn’t just an event - it was a movement in action. A room full of change-makers, healers, and women determined to shift the narrative.
And honestly? It was magic. ✨
Influencers, Leaders & Women Who Showed Up for the Cause
We were blessed to have some truly inspiring women travel to stand with us:
-
Claire — who came all the way from Bristol to be part of our mission
-
Sarah — who travelled from Cambridge to join us
Both women stood with us in solidarity, and we’re thrilled to be working even more closely together in the coming months.
A huge shout-out to Aimee Victoria Long, London’s celebrity PT, who brought so much energy, kindness, and fire. Aimee — your support means the world and we cannot wait for future collaborations.
And the iconic Olivia Bentley joined us for a beautiful day of movement and wellness, including Pilates, Barre fitness, and facials — the perfect blend of empowerment and self-care.
Let’s not forget...
Benji, the ONLY man ever allowed into HERSPACE — resident diva, Pilates king, expert mood-lifter, and absolute comedic genius. He kept us laughing from start to finish and reminded us that joy is part of the healing journey too.
Speaking the Truth: Breaking the Silence Around Domestic Violence
During my speech, we dug deep into the reality of domestic violence — not just the statistics, but the lived truth and the road ahead.
A few powerful facts we shared:
-
1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime
-
On average, it takes a woman 7 attempts to leave an abusive partner
-
Only 1 in 5 survivors receives the long-term support they need
These numbers are devastating — and they are exactly why we are building something different.
We spoke about how Dope Soul Village and Finally Free CIC are changing the game by:
✅ Creating safe spaces with no time limits
✅ Building trauma-informed communities, not shelters
✅ Giving women access to healing, advocacy, housing & independence
✅ Making sure women and children — including teenage boys — are never turned away
✅ Using business as a force for good, reinvesting into survivor support
The response was overwhelming.
The room felt every word.
And that’s how we know the mission is landing — because women are tired of temporary fixes.
We deserve better.
Our children deserve better.
And we are building better — together.
What’s Next? Collaboration, Growth & Change
This event was just the beginning.
We have so many collaborations already in motion and more being planned — with creators, fitness leaders, mental health advocates, and survivor-led organisations who share our vision for real, lasting change.
Over the next few months, expect to see:
✨ Joint workshops
✨ Survivor-support initiatives
✨ Community healing events
✨ Empowerment content & campaigns
✨ Training, education & awareness programmes
Dope Soul Village and Finally Free CIC are growing.
HERSPACE is growing.
The movement for women is growing.
And I’m excited - truly excited - to watch this mission unfold and amplify.
To Everyone Who Came - Thank You
Your presence wasn’t just support — it was a statement.
A message.
A promise that women are no longer suffering in silence, and survivors are no longer standing alone.
We are building a future where every woman has a safe place to land and a community to rise with.
Together, we are finally free. 💜
Stay tuned — the revolution is only just beginning.
