OVERVIEW
This website and Marketplace are operated by Dope Soul Village® Feminist Clothing & Accessories (“DSV”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Throughout this site, the terms and services offered — including our Marketplace and community features — are conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By accessing or using our site, Marketplace, or Community services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including additional terms referenced herein. These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, vendors, Marketplace sellers, and contributors of content.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the website, Marketplace, or Community.

We may update or change these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our Marketplace is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform enabling sellers to list and sell products.

SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY

  • Users must be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent if younger.

  • By using our services, you represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate and lawful.

  • Marketplace sellers must have a valid payment method and comply with local laws for sales.

SECTION 2 – MARKETPLACE TERMS

  1. Fees & Payment

    • Flat monthly fees: £25 onboarding month; £35/month for sellers listing ≤100 items; £55/month + card transaction fees for >100 items.

    • Payment is required upfront on the day of sign-up. No commissions are taken.

  2. Seller Responsibilities

    • Sellers manage their own dispatch policies, which must be within 7 working days. Any deviations must be clearly displayed on the seller’s page.

    • Sellers handle customer service, returns, and refunds. Buyers should direct all order issues to the seller.

    • Sellers must not list illegal products or violate any laws, including copyright, trademark, or safety regulations.

  3. Content & Listings

    • You retain ownership of your listings, but grant DSV a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute your content within the Marketplace.

    • DSV reserves the right to remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.

SECTION 3 – COMMUNITY TERMS

  • Users may participate in forums, comments, and collaborations (“Community”).

  • You agree not to harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users.

  • Any content you post must not infringe the rights of others and must not contain unlawful, obscene, or malicious material.

  • DSV may remove content at its discretion.

SECTION 4 – GENERAL USE OF SITE & SERVICE

  • You agree not to use the site or services for unlawful purposes, to transmit viruses or malware, or to interfere with security features.

  • Any breach may result in termination of services and account.

  • All optional third-party tools, links, or resources are provided “as-is” without endorsement or warranty.

SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS & SERVICES

  • Products sold through the Marketplace or DSV store may have limited quantities and are subject to individual seller policies.

  • DSV does not guarantee that product colors or images perfectly match your display.

  • We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse sales, or discontinue products at any time.

SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

  • DSV is not responsible for errors in pricing, product descriptions, shipping times, or availability.

  • Users must provide accurate account and billing information.

SECTION 7 – PRIVACY

  • Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

SECTION 8 – LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

  • Use of the Marketplace, Community, and site is at your own risk.

  • Services, products, and information are provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind.

  • DSV is not liable for damages, including lost profits, data loss, or indirect consequences.

  • Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

SECTION 9 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DSV, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of third-party rights

  • Any misuse of the Marketplace or Community

SECTION 10 – TERMINATION

  • DSV may suspend or terminate your access at its discretion for breaches of these Terms.

  • Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.

SECTION 11 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

SECTION 12 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by UK law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.

SECTION 13 – CHANGES TO TERMS

  • DSV may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on the website.

  • Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
