Malicious Reports, Military Corruption, and the Battle for Justice: How One Army Neighbor Tried to Destroy My Family
Living in a military community comes with its own unique set of challenges—frequent relocations, long periods of separation from loved ones, and the need for resilience. But the biggest challenge I’ve faced wasn’t adapting to life in the military. It wasn’t even the typical hardships that come with my husband’s deployment. Instead, it was dealing with an entirely different enemy—
**corruption, malicious reports, and lies** from people I had never even met.
One of those people is Chloe Masters, a former neighbour who decided to maliciously report me to Social Services, despite the fact that she didn’t know me, had never spoken to me, and had no evidence for her claims. What she did have, though, were the same words almost verbatim as Major King, a man who two years earlier had already falsely accused me of horrific things in retaliation for a service complaint my husband had filed against him. Chloe took those lies, added her own embellishments, and weaponized Social Services to try to ruin my life and tear apart my family.
The Same Lies, Just a New Messenger
Back in 2020, my husband filed a service complaint against **Major King**, his superior in the British Army’s **1st Battalion, Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (1 PWRR)**.
He was being bullied, denied promotion opportunities, and treated unfairly while other soldiers, like **Pte Dylan Maisfield**, were fast-tracked for promotion despite serious misconduct. After my husband spoke up, Major King retaliated in the most malicious way possible—by reporting me to the **Royal Military Police (RMP)** for baseless claims of financial abuse, all of which were false.
Fast forward to my experience with Chloe Masters, a neighbour I had never met, who filed a malicious report against me with Social Services. In her report, Chloe repeated **almost word-for-word** the same accusations that Major King had made two years prior. She claimed I was abusive to my husband and he "walked the long way home". This was not just disputed by my Husband but also by 2 other Soldiers Pte Brown and former Soldier Luke Griggs.
Even though Chloe had never spoken to me, and didn’t even know my family’s situation, she felt confident enough to lie—fully aware of the devastating consequences that could follow.
What’s worse, she didn’t stop at just repeating the lies; Chloe embellished them further, adding her own false narrative. And her motivations? According to her own court statement, her husband failed his promotion course and was sent back early. Yet, in her twisted version of events, he returned because of me. How am I to blame for his failed course? And yet, after all of this, her husband somehow still got promoted to Sergeant. The corruption and favoritism within the MoD run so deep that they don’t even try to hide it.
Corruption and Cover-Ups: How the MoD Protects the Guilty
I decided to fight back. I filed a **defamation lawsuit** against Chloe, on recommendation of the Welfare Officer Captain Kailash Limbu, knowing full well that this wasn’t just about me—this was about holding someone accountable for maliciously trying to destroy my family. But instead of facing justice,
Chloe was protected by the military.
Lieutenant Colonel Zorab MBE, the commanding officer of 1 PWRR, stepped in to help her escape a court hearing by manufacturing yet another malicious report against me. This time, I was accused of "doxxing" (exposing personal information online), and they used this fabricated charge to justify an emergency posting for Chloe, moving her to Cyprus for "security reasons."

Chloe is now **living rent- and council-tax-free in Episkopi, Cyprus, on taxpayers' money**.
All because she maliciously reported me to Social Services and repeated the same lies Major King told two years ago. Instead of facing consequences for her actions, she has been rewarded with a cushy new life, all thanks to the corrupt system that protects bullies like her.

The MoD’s corruption knows no bounds. They continue to break both **military and civilian law** in order to protect their own. What makes this even worse is the **enablers**—the so-called "flying monkeys" who blindly support these lies, the journalists too scared to report the truth, and the soldiers who, out of fear or complacency, refuse to uphold the values and standards they swore to protect.
No Accountability, Only Protection for Bullies
Sadly, my case is not an isolated incident. The MoD has a long history of protecting abusers while punishing victims. Recent statistics show that the MoD has paid out millions in compensation to soldiers and their families for bullying, harassment, and misconduct within the military. Yet despite these payouts, nothing changes. The toxic culture persists, and those in power continue to protect themselves at the expense of others.
In particular, military wives often bear the brunt of this toxic environment. When their husbands are abusive or involved in misconduct, many of these women become enablers, taking out their frustration or fear on other wives in the community. This culture of silence and complicity allows the cycle of abuse to continue unchecked. Instead of seeking help or change, these women often turn to gossip, manipulation, and, as in my case, malicious reporting to harm others.
Chloe Masters is just one of many examples of how this toxic culture is thriving within military communities.
She had no problem lying to **Social Services**, the **courts**, and the **police**. She had no issue lying to her friends and family about me, a stranger she had never met. All the while, knowing full well that her lies could have resulted in my children being taken away or in us being forced out of our home. And for what? All because of her husband’s failed promotion course, and her desire to blame someone else for his shortcomings.
A Fight for Justice for Myself—and Millions of Others
The corruption within the MoD and military leadership is staggering, but what’s even more disturbing is how they are allowed to get away with it. They dig the hole deeper and deeper because they believe they are untouchable. But as a **neurodivergent woman** with a strong sense of justice, I refuse to let them get away with it.
This fight is no longer just about my family and me. It’s about **all the millions of women** who have been silenced, gaslighted, and ignored when they dared to speak up against abuse and corruption. I will not stop until justice is served—not just for me, but for all the women who have been through similar circumstances.
Dope Soul Village: Building a Better Future
I founded **Dope Soul Village** to help put an end to this toxic cycle of corruption and abuse. It’s more than just a store where you can buy empowering sweatshirts and hoodies. **Dope Soul Village** is a **community**—a place where women can come together, support one another, and create real change. We cannot rely on the military or the legal system to protect us. We must rely on ourselves and each other.
One day, I hope Dope Soul Village will inspire a movement that ends this culture of silence and complicity. We deserve better, and we will not stop fighting until we get it. You are **Dope Soul Village**—together, we can build a better future.
